The Woes Of Atlas

I have the weight of the world on my shoulders
It's plain to see that it's crushing me
Bearing this curse for the sake of tomorrow
No one can say what tomorrow will bring

And I've tried to face this on my own
But it's hard to take on the pain

No more tomorrows
Will see what today brings
I hope in my heart tomorrow won't be there for me
Tomorrow can you not see
I just want to be free

The world keeps on turning -- a rotating burden
Consuming my soul with its cold gravity
I pray this existence will pass me by quickly
'Cause my face of death will be smiling

But I've tried to liberate myself
To be free of this torment and pain

No more tomorrows
Will see what today brings
I hope in my heart tomorrow won't be there for me
Tomorrow why can't you see
I want only to be set free

This time the world will fall down from my shoulders
It's plain to see what's happening to me
If I don't release it, I'll be here tomorrow
If tomorrow's gone, it pleases me

But I've finally freed myself
And at last I fear no more pain

No more tomorrows
Will see what today brings
I know in my heart tomorrow won't be there for me
Tomorrow release me
Vanquish my burden and set my soul free
